Lehigh Valley opening up to Juneteenth (Friday), America’s observance of the end of slavery

The Lehigh Valley plans for Juneteenth, which commemorates the June 19, 1865 anniversary of the end of slavery in all states — more than two years after President Abraham Lincoln’s Emancipation Proclamation that freed the slaves.
