King George, one of Bethlehem’s first on-duty police horses, retires

Officer Al Strydesky, George's final regular partner on the beat, said everyone was saddened to hear that arthritis would take the 15-year-old horse off the streets. But the department is grateful to watch him enjoy his retirement in Bethlehem.
