Charles “Charlie” Meredith III, the former owner and publisher of the Quakertown Free Press and a longtime Bucks County philanthropist, died Friday, his family said. He was 85. Meredith’s family and friends described him as a Renaissance man and captivating storyteller whose generosity knew no bounds.
