A homeless encampment sprang up in the middle of a Lynn Township townhouse development last week. Tensions flared in the neighborhood, the original owner offloaded the land to an Allentown homeless organization, and after weathering a nor'easter, the campers left. But the dispute over the land goes back years, and for a week, homeless people who were given permission to camp there were caught in the middle.
