Widespread internet outage hits Northeast as Verizon reports cut fiber cable

A widespread internet outage has been reported across the northeast U.S. on Tuesday. Verizon reported a fiber cut in Brooklyn via Twitter, although it’s not clear if that issue is responsible for the entire outage.
