With Black Americans dying of COVID at higher rates, the medical community points to racism in health care

Racial biases and inequalities in health care have resulted in Black Americans having poor health outcomes and higher rates of chronic diseases than whites, which has led to their being infected with the coronavirus at higher rates and being nearly twice as likely to die of it.
