‘There’s so much life there now,’ sister of Flight 93 victim says of hallowed ground in Shanksville

At the Flight 93 crash site in Shanksville, the National Park Service and partners have worked since 2011 to restore the land to its natural beauty. There’s a wetland, 15,000 native trees and shrubs and a wildflower meadow that sweeps down the slopes to the edge of the Memorial Plaza and Wall of Names.
