On Friday, Gov. Tom Wolf’s office issued a news release that said the mitigation efforts are backed by former governors Mark Schweiker, Tom Ridge and Ed Rendell — all the state’s governors since 1998, with the exception of one, Republican Tom Corbett, Wolf’s immediate predecessor.
